After a 11 hour flight( Auckland to Beuno Aires), followd by a 2 hour domestic flight up to Iguassa and then a short drive across the border into Brazil we have arrived a the site of the 2007 canoe slalom world champs.

Slovenian Coast

Today we headed down to the Slovenian coast and past the Sandiline Factory in Koper (thanks for the awesome lunch guys and the tour of the factory).
It was sweet, real warm water and warm weather compared to the weather we had been having in Tacen. It was freezing last night for the flat water slalom in town, and with the rain the course has now risen and is pretty high. Looks sweet, hope it is at that flow for the race, will make for exciting racing.

hey, sorry beem so long since my last post, quite a bit has happened, whilst we were in Prague racing i had my laptop bag taken with my laptop and a bit of other stuff in it. So yeah, it has made it a bit hard to post stuff up.

I picked up my new boat the other day, have had two sessions in it. It is so much sweeter than the boat i was borrowing, shorter and smaller.

Roudinice

On sunday we went for a trip to roudinice cos the Czech cup was on at Prague, it was a sweet little course with heaps going on, and a sweet little drop at the bottom of the course. I didnt paddle, just waited until i could go and pick up my new boat from Galasport. I just took some photos of the others training

Today the weather went crazy, there was lightning in the distance and then in a out 2 mins the coulds rolled in and it bucketed down for about 5 minutes and blew a gale!! It was crazy. I was on the rail bridge when it started, had to run back, but i probably would have been dryer swimming!!

We are in Prague now getting some coaching from the ex irish coach, Kidder, Lukka has met up with us after missing her first flight from London. We have coaching until Sunday, by then i should hopefully have my new boat. Check out my sweet stripey boat!!
